Gestational Surrogacy<\/h2>\n

Gestational Surrogacy is becoming a commonly accepted medical practice which has made it possible for couples in which either one of the couple is infertile or the woman is incapable of carrying a live birth, to have a baby.\u00a0 It is established on the lines of other techniques like In Vitro fertilization and intra cytoplasmic sperm injection but involves the transfer of resultant embryos into a surrogate mother and not into the genetic mother.so even though the surrogate mother is carrying the pregnancy she has no genetic link to the child.<\/p>\n

There are a number of steps to be taken in order to reach an agreement between surrogate mother and the genetic couple who are commonly known as commissioning couple. Usually there are lawyers who specialize in the field of assisted reproduction and surrogacy and we at the kiran infertility centre have an in house counsel for surrogacy cases<\/p>\n

Expenses related to Surrogacy <\/b><\/h3>\n

Usually are divided as<\/p>\n

1. Expenditure related to ovarian stimulation of egg donor<\/p>\n

2. Expenditure for In vitro fertilization<\/p>\n

3. Expenditure for Embryo transfer<\/p>\n

4. Fees for Egg donor (if applicable)<\/p>\n

5. Fees or compensation for Surrogate mother<\/p>\n

Laws related to surrogacy<\/b><\/h3>\n

Every country has different laws regarding surrogacy. Few countries like India, USA, and Ukraine allow surrogacy while in many countries commercial surrogacy is illegal, in many other countries there are no laws restricting commercial surrogacy.<\/p>\n

Indian Surrogacy program<\/b><\/h3>\n

At this moment India is the most favourable destinations for infertile couples to experience the joy of parenthood through surrogacy primarily because of much lower expenses than other countries, highly skilled clinicians, Embryologists and a robust infrastructure in place with good connectivity for International travelers.<\/p>\n
