To overcome this, three parent IVF would be a choice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">In this process the \u201cpower house\u201d cells of the body which acts like a battery for the cell are inherited from the mother, so the proposed IVF treatment\u00a0<\/span>wouldn&#8217;t<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0pass the mitochondrial disease to the baby. Mitochondrial DNA is separate from the DNA found in the cell\u00a0nucleus and\u00a0<\/span>doesn&#8217;t<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0affect the characteristics like eye color, hair and the personality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">With this law the <strong>removal of mitochondrial DNA is possible<\/strong> from an embryo or egg.
