What is Implantation Bleeding?<\/p>\n

This is a bleeding that can occur very early in the pregnancy, but not all pregnant woman will experience spotting or bleeding. The gynecologists believe such an instance to occur when the embryo gets attached to the uterine lining.<\/p>\n

Do not be alarmed on finding a few spots of blood from the vagina though. This is what you should know:
\n– It is usually light and lasts for a very short duration
\n– It is found within 10-14 days after the first menstrual period is missed
\n– It is important to note the color of blood and share the facts with your doctor when you visit for checking the progress of pregnancy
\n– Women who undergo IVF may also have Implantation Bleeding after 2 weeks of embryo transfer. This may be a symptom of pregnancy indicating the success of IVF cycle.<\/p>\n
