What are the causes of low sperm count and motility?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Infertility in men is now a common phenomenon with ever one in ten men facing the problems with lower sperm count and motility. Lower sperm count is attributed to the infertility in men resulting in not able to become a parent. There are cases where sperm count is very low or absence of sperms in the semen results in infertility. Low sperm motility means that the sperms in the semen of the men are not able to move in the reproductive tract of the women resulting in the failure to conceive by the female partner\/spouse.<\/p>\n

The causes of low sperm count and low sperm motility as per the infertility specialists of Kiran infertility centre or KIC include-<\/p>\n

1) Use of steroids

\n5) Damage to testicles or undescended testicles.
\n6) Genetics and environmental factors
\n7) Stress

The diagnosis of low sperm count and motility is done by andrologists or doctors of KIC by obtaining fluid samples such as semen of the concerned men through computer testing tools. The tested person is known to suffer from low sperm motility when less than 40% of his sperms are motile. Normally, two samples are collected to diagnose low sperm count and motility.<\/p>\n

The treatment for low sperm count and motility is done by the doctors by prescribing supplements to the patient suffering from low sperm motility. These supplements should be taken under the guidance of the doctors or andrologists.<\/p>\n
