More Than Four Decades of Dedicated Fertility Care

Kiran Infertility Centre has been dedicated to fertility and reproductive medicine since 1981, making us one of the longest-established centers in India specializing in infertility treatment.

The centre was founded in Hyderabad by Dr. Naresh K. Sekhar and Dr. Kiran D. Sekhar, at a time when infertility was rarely discussed and specialized fertility treatment was still in its early stages. In those early years, only a small number of centers around the world were dedicated specifically to infertility care.

From the beginning, Kiran Infertility Centre was established with a clear purpose: to provide specialized fertility treatment and help individuals and couples achieve their dream of having a child. As reproductive medicine developed, we continued to evolve with it, adopting new technologies and expanding our expertise across assisted reproductive treatments.

Kiran Infertility Centre has been associated with several important milestones in the development of assisted reproduction in India. Among these, our centre was involved in the birth of the first baby in South India conceived using assisted reproductive technology (ART), marking an important milestone in the history of fertility treatment in the region.

Over the years, our facilities have evolved alongside our medical expertise. The centre has operated from different locations in Hyderabad as it expanded its services and infrastructure, and since 2005 has operated as Sai Kiran Hospital. In 2018, our current facility in Khairatabad was renovated and developed as a dedicated centre focused on advanced infertility and reproductive care.

Today, Kiran Infertility Centre combines more than four decades of experience with modern fertility technology, specialist medical expertise, advanced laboratory facilities, and a patient-centered approach.

A Legacy of Experience

Over the course of our journey, our consultants have helped more than 30,000 babies come into the world through assisted reproductive treatment, with patients who have travelled to Kiran Infertility Centre from more than 58 countries.

Our experience has extended across a wide range of fertility services and technologies, including IVF, ICSI, laparoscopy, cryopreservation, stem cell therapy, reproductive genetics, and other specialized areas of fertility care.

Our work has also extended beyond clinical treatment. Over the years, Kiran Infertility Centre has been involved in medical education, research, clinical trials and testing, training of doctors, and professional consultation in areas such as IVF and IUI laboratory installation and maintenance.
