Your Medical Visa Guide Coming To India For IVF/ Fertility Treatments

Welcome to Kiran Infertility Centre. We know that planning medical treatment in another country involves important steps, and we are here to help make the visa process simple and clear for you.

The Indian government offers special visas for international patients: the Medical Visa for the patient and the Medical Attendant Visa for family members accompanying you.

The Simple Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Contact Us for Your Visa Letter

The first step is to contact us for a consultation. Once your treatment plan is confirmed, we will provide you with an official Medical Visa Invitation Letter. This letter is required for your application and will detail your treatment plan at our clinic.

Step 2: Apply for Your Medical Visa

With our invitation letter, you can apply for your Medical Visa at the Indian Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Your attendant(s) can apply for their Medical Attendant Visas at the same time.

Step 3: Receive Your Visa and Plan Your Travel

After your visa is approved, please book your flights and share your travel itinerary with us. We will arrange a comfortable pick-up for you from the airport.

Step 4: Register upon Arrival in India

After you arrive in India, you and your attendant must register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days. Do not worry—our team will provide you with full assistance to complete this registration smoothly.

Key documents you will typically need include:

  • A valid passport.
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
  • Our official Medical Visa Invitation Letter.
  • A medical certificate from your local doctor (if applicable).
  • Payment of the visa fee.

Important Details to Remember

  • You can apply for a Medical Attendant Visa for up to two close family members.
  • Medical Visas are typically granted for the duration of the treatment. Our team will guide you if an extension is needed.
  • Always check for the latest guidelines on the official Indian government websites, as rules can occasionally change.
